The three featured whiskeys for the evening are: The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is matured in traditional oak whisky casks for 14 years and finished in casks that once held Caribbean rum. Blanton's Single Barrel Whiskey is taken from the center-cut or middle sections of the famous Warehouse H. This whiskey was once designated for ambassadors, dignitaries, and Colonel Blanton’s family and friends. Today, everyone has access to the world’s first single barrel bourbon. Knappogue Castle 21 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a marriage of two single malts distilled in copper pot stills and then matured in ex-bourbon casks – one for 23 years (put into barrel in 1994) and another for 21 years (put into barrel in 1996) before blending them together.
