Blood testing of 4-H show birds and guidance to learn how to show your bird
Clemson Extension Staff will be available from 1:00pm until 6:30pm on Monday, August 23 to blood test 4-H Poultry Project participants show bird(s) and provide in person guidance on how to properly show your bird this Fall. In order to show a bird in South Carolina, blood testing within 90 days of the start of the event is required. In order to ensure we are done by 6:30, your arrival should be no later than 6:00pm. This is open to any youth in SC that are currently enrolled in our 4-H Pullet Chain or Laying Flock projects.
Please RSVP by registering for this event. You willl be asked to provide the names of the youth attending and your expected arival time so that we can be sure to prepare for the numbers accordingly.
If you are only coming for blood testing and not showmanship instruction, you will be able to share that in the order form as well.
