Have you ever wondered what it would look like inside a whale? Here is your chance, and you don't even have to get your feet wet! Come meet Nile, a 43 ft., life-sized inflatable whale based on a female humpback whale born in 1987 who often summers off the coast of Massachusetts. In this in-person event, small groups of 20 will get to visit inside the belly of Nile to learn about the ocean, the anatomy of whales and what they eat.
At 10:30am, there will be a brief presentation about whales and their habitats to get you familiarized with what you'll see inside the belly of Nile. Then, each group will get to go inside the belly of the whale! While attendees wait for their group to go inside the whale, there will be a series of interactive activities to keep busy, including getting to hold actual whale teeth! Hopefully this visit will inspire our next generation of ocean advocates.
Tickets will consist of four groups of 20 people. This event is perfect for kids ages 4-8, and parents and guardians will enjoy it too! Customers will be able to register their party for one of the four groups. All attendees (parents included) will require a ticket in order to attend. The organizer of the Whalemobile asks that all attendees please wear their masks during the event, no exceptions. We are expecting tickets for this event to sell out quickly. There will be no waitlist for this event.
