Dr. Bovee is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology with Fellowship training in Glaucoma from Harvard Medical School. As Newsom Eye's Glaucoma Surgeon, Dr. Bovee performs the latest surgical and laser techniques, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, also known as MIGS. She is also very active in the latest advances in research for glaucoma treatments including Durysta, the 1st and only biodegradable glaucoma sustained-release drug delivery systems.
