Join LCEA members for an open discussion to determine our bargaining priorities for the 21-22 school year!
What investments and changes would YOU like to see to see in Lake County School's this year?
The Lake County School Board is set to receive $147,684,013 in American Relief Act funds and is obligated to engage in "meaningful consultation" with "teachers, others educators, support staff, and their unions" in determining how these funds should be spent. This is the total amount given to the district from the three ESSER relief packages.
Classroom teachers have been on the front lines of ensuring the safety, health, and academic success of students throughout the pandemic and know what resources and supports students and schools need better than anyone else.
Come ready to share your ideas for what it would take to address student learning loss and bring about the schools Lake County students and educators deserve!
This event will be held simultaneously in-person at the LCEA Office and virtually via zoom. If you are interested in participating virtually, you will receive the zoom link upon registration.
For those attending in person - parking is available behind and adjacent to the LCEA office - 1317 South St, Leesburg, FL 34748
