Join Chef Randy as a Junior Chef for MCC Chopped Jr.! Create meals from scratch using mystery ingredients. Tweens and Teens join up with MCC Chef Randy to make a meal from ingredients that kids have chosen. Kids will choose any one food item/ingredient at time of booking/reservation. Total of 8 kids will pick a total of 8 ingredients. When kids arrive, the 8 ingredients will be presented. Participants will not know what the other kids have selected at time of choosing. Kids will then work with Chef to develop a recipe/menu or dish, based on the 8 ingredients and will then begin hands-on cooking. The kids will be required to eat whatever they make and critique at the end of the session. For Children 9 yrs. Old to 13 yrs. old When: Saturdays, March 13, 2021, April 24, 2021, May 22, 2021, June 19, 2021 from 11am-2pm. Where: Miramar Cultural Center Banquet Hall | 2400 Civic Center Place Participant Fee/Ticket Price: $20.00 per child, per class. The Miramar Cultural Center / ArtsPark was created to celebrate creativity and diversity within the city. This landmark is a vibrant, urban destination located in the heart of the Miramar Town Center, situated adjacent to our City Hall. Centrally located, the center is visible and accessible from Red Road, Miramar Boulevard and Hiatus Road.
