TAMPA, FL — On Thursday, July 22, 8:30 to 10 a.m., the public is invited to this free third-quarter gathering of the University Area CDC Partners Coalition, where attendees will learn about programs and initiatives happening in Tampa, with a focus on education.
Participants will enjoy complimentary breakfast and networking.
The agenda will include:
Community Investment – University Area Cultural Campus: presenters Sarah Combs, University Area CDC and Jody Beck, Traction Architecture
Focusing Forward – A Community Conversation on "Youth, Schools and Our Future," moderated by Freddy Barton, Sound & Safe Hillsborough. Panelists: Kylia Carswell, Mort Elementary; Karen Perez, Hillsborough County School Board; Stevie Hodgkins, Hillsborough County teacher and UACDC board member; Shayla Solomon, community resident and parent; Emile Hernandez Mesa, Hillsborough High School student.
