Kids Herb & Veggie Planting and Book Crafting Class with The Garden Shoppe We're teaming up with our friends at The Garden Shoppe to bring you a special event that promotes environmental justice and the love of gardening! Join us Saturday August 21st from noon to 1PM at Rohi's Readery in Rosemary Square to plant your own veggies, herbs, or flowers! For the first part of the class Rohi's Readery will do a fun Revolutionary Storytime featuring a surprise reading! Then, The Garden Shoppe will have an array of herb, flower, and vegetable plants to choose from and will guide you in potting and caring for your new plants. Kids will get to learn more about where our food comes from and will take home their own herb or vegetable plant to continue growing at home. Includes one herb or vegetable plant, one pot, and The Garden Shoppe's custom soil blend to plant! Guests will also have the option to purchase additional plants or pots at the event.
