description: This position performs a wide variety of janitorial and maintenance duties as a part of a property management team. Duties include preventative, emergency, cosmetic, and routine maintenance of 55 apartment units and regular inspections etc.
2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment available for additional role as Emergency Response Staff/non office hours (if required).
Detailed description:
-Perform electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, masonry, plastering, painting tasks, and janitorial duties as assigned.
-Performs timely apartment unit turn-overs as directed by the Property Manager.
-Performs routine work orders as necessary. Completes work order tasks avoiding safety hazards and deficiencies specified on work orders and/or inspections.
-Participate in off-shift and weekend emergency maintenance coverage as scheduled.
-Report physical condition needs of common areas such as the grounds, building exteriors and takes corrective action.
Requirements:
-Must possess a valid California driver’s license & must possess reliable, insured, and registered vehicle
-Basic mathematical skills with fluency in reading, writing, and communication in English.
-Ability to perform maintenance and repair building trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC system, appliance repair, painting, drywall, plaster, fire protection system, etc.
-Ability to recognize safety hazards and take precautionary measures to protect self and others.
