Overview We’re a metals subcontractor located in San Jose that is looking to add a driver to our team. We design and fabricate metal structures at our shop and then install them in the field. This driver position will provide a supporting role in that process. While your primary function will be driving, there is not a constant flow of deliveries so you will be expected to pitch in and help in other ways when you’re not driving, E.G., cleanup, etc. Qualifications *You will need a valid Class C drivers license with a clean driving record. If you have a Commercial Driver’s license, that would be a plus and would allow you to drive larger vehicles in our fleet. *Prior experience in a similar role. *Construction industry experience is desired but not a must. *If you know your way around a fabrication shop, that would be a big plus. You’ll be exposed to new processes and will have the opportunity to pick up new skills. Schedule, Compensation/Benefits *The work schedule would generally be from 5:30AM – 2:00PM with occasional overtime. *This is a non-exempt position and compensation will be based on experience. *There is paid Holidays and PTO. *The company offers health insurance after 30 days where the company pays 100% of the premium for the employee. *You will be eligible for a 401K plan with a company contribution after 1 year of service.
