Martine's Wines is a national wine importer, wholesaler and distributor headquartered in Northern California and founded in 1979. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic self-starter to work in our Novato warehouse operations as Assistant Warehouse Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a physically active role and staying busy in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail. Our ideal candidate demonstrates perseverance and is upbeat and highly service oriented. This is a full-time position with hours M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM. Responsibilities • Working closely with Warehouse Manager and direct reports to oversee the daily distribution of wines to customers around the country • Pulling itemized stock from sales orders and verifying accurate quantities/producer/vintage • Completing bill of lading forms for nationwide carriers • Palletizing shipments and stretch wrapping palletized cases • Moving stock as needed to accommodate upcoming shipments • Unloading and receiving 20 & 40-foot containers • Reconciling wines received and quantities against purchase orders • Attending daily morning huddle meetings to update team on pending orders • Overseeing monthly inventory reconciliation • Maintaining a clean, orderly and safe workspace environment Qualifications • Must be self-motivated, reliable, punctual detail-oriented • Positive attitude and a team player • Quick learner with the ability to adapt • Forklift certification, proficient with stand-up forklift • Pervious warehouse experience or wine industry experience with references • Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office experience and computer skills required • Must have the ability to climb ladders up to 20’ • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, multiple times a day • Ability to work for a prolonged amount of time in a 60-degree environment Compensation and Benefits • Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. • Employer-sponsored medical, employee-sponsored dental/vision/401k programs; paid holidays and vacation. • Our office and warehouse is located in Novato with convenient access to Golden Gate Transit and the Smart Train.
