Join us as we learn how to protect water quality based on how we manage our lawn and runoff and learn how to properly take a soil sample. In this FREE workshop, you will learn how to install your rain barrel, learn about mowing practices that can help reduce fertilzer use and learn how to properly take a soil sample and understand the results. The first 25 people to register that live in the Grand Lake watershed will receive a rain barrel (1 per address) and a certificate for a free soil test from OSU Extension Services. GRDA's Ecosystems and Watershed Management Department is introducing a new program for residents within the Grand Lake Watershed to learn more about the watershed they live and recreate in and provide them tools to help make a difference.
