TRUMBULL, CT — A 41-year-old Bridgeport woman pulled from the Pequonnock River on Thursday has died. Police say the woman was found unresponsive in the water between White Plains Road and Quarry Road in Trumbull. "There were other individuals in the area during this time, who eventually observed the woman in the water and called 911," police said in a news release issued Thursday night. Police, fire and EMS workers from Trumbull arrived shortly after, pulled the victim out of the river, and took over her medical care. Trumbull EMS took her to Saint Vincent's Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
