Brookline's Goddard House Raises $500 For Parkinson's Foundation

BROOKLINE, MA — Goddard House Assisted Living raised $500 for the Parkinson's Foundation at its Outdoor Floral Art Display for Charity that took place over the weekend. The three-day event featured creative, outdoor flower arrangements and planters in recycled containers donated by local officials, residents, and businesses. Visitors were invited to enter a bid on the planter of their choice to help support those with Parkinson's disease. Goddard House would like to give special thanks to the following organizations who helped make the event a success: Allandale FarmChestnut Hill Garden ClubFaithful Flowers Creative Landscape DesignGreen City GrowersTown of Brookline, Parks and Open Space Division of DPW The Parkinson's Foundation, which recently awarded Goddard House with a second grant to help fund its Parkinson's in Motion program, is a national organization working towards improving care and finding a cure for Parkinson's disease.
