Press release from the Pierce County Government: July 19, 2021 June 2021 Heat Wave: Heat-Related Deaths in Pierce County The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed 23 heat-related deaths due to the unprecedented heat in the region.  The following are the names, ages, and death location for cases confirmed where next of kin have been notified.  This list will be updated as investigations conclude and next of kin are notified.   Alan L.
