These activities focus on healing your soul, mind, and body through human connection, nature immersion, art, & more. BACKGROUND Hey everyone, my name is deedee (18). Lately, to be brutally honest, I have felt so lonely and disconnected from the world. With COVID restrictions and my mental health issues, it feels harder than ever to put myself back out into the world. However, I have decided that why not turn my pain into greatness? I know that there are other people out there who may feel just as lonely and isolated as me so I created this group to connect people with each other. AGE Specifically, this event is for young adults and late teens (17-25). GOAL I want everyone who attends this group to feel loved and appreciated. These events will focus on your spiritual and mental well-being. Come with nothing but an open mind. I hope you leave every event with a sense of hope and a feeling of belonging. Be as open as you want to be and it may benefit you the more you share. At the end of this program, I hope you were able to open yourself up to more people and feel a change within yourself. ACTIVITIES During this program, we will do a lot of different things that will stimulate your brain to make you feel better. For example, all of the events will be outside because nature benefits not only your emotional health, but also your physical health. At each event, we will open our minds to different forms of art through painting, sketching, drawing, and more. Most of the events focus on being surrounded by nature and getting creative - while also conversating with others. Aren't you loving this so far? RULES (1) Respect other people (2) Please still be considerate of safe distancing yourselves per COVID (3) Make sure to reserve your spot 8 hours before an event (3) Be yourself! END NOTE At every event I will have complimentary drinks (water, of course) and snacks. I will also provide extra supplies, if needed, for events such as painting.
