VIENNA, VA — For the first time since 2004, Vienna is hosting the Virginia State Little League Majors Tournament. From July 23 to July 27, the championship teams from 16 districts will compete to earn the title of state champion in 2021. The winner will advance to the Southeast region tournament — and ultimately hope to make the Little League World Series. Tournament festivities kicked off Thursday in Vienna with an opening parade down Patrick Street to Yeonas Park and an opening ceremony at Crabtree Field at Yeonas Park. Each team paraded down Patrick Street with their district championship banner, earning cheers from supporters. Among the teams is the hometown favorite — Vienna National representing District 4.
