Historic Cemetery stroll in the heart of downtown Platted in 1826, this land embraces the souls of settlers! Here you will find gravestones for our community’s earliest leaders, soldiers, poets, and philanthropists. We will examine the beautiful artwork of headstones and divulge the forgotten lives and stories of the past. Meet at the Billy Yank Civil War Statue. The cemetery is bounded by 1st and 3rd street. The Museum provides local history exhibits and provides educational and cultural programs year round.
