Daytime VDOT Work To Impact Georgetown Pike In McLean

MCLEAN, VA — Virginia Department of Transportation work will require an alternating lane closure on Georgetown Pike during daytime hours from Monday, July 26 to Wednesday, July 28. Georgetown Pike will run with one lane of alternating traffic in each direction between Swinks Mill Road and the Capital Beltway (Interstate 495) from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on July 26, 27 and 28. VDOT crews will be replacing a stormwater pipe at the Saigon Road intersection. Flaggers will direct the alternating directions of traffic. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes. There will still be access to and from Saigon Road and other side streets from Georgetown Pike.
