Hello there! To sum it all up from the start - I'm reaching out to find musicians with good ears and good attitudes. professional and dependable and looking to have fun. I am new to Charleston and looking for a backing band / collaboration. I am 34, I sing, play guitar (acoustic/electric/lead), bass, standup bass, and Rhodes piano. I have 5 hours + of music. I play all styles and have been playing professionally for years. Also, if your looking for a player I would love to join an established band. Jazz,, rockabilly, reggae, country, bluegrass... whatever. Like I said, I'm new to town so I ain't got no "juice" and currently trying to book solo gigs for myself. so if your looking for a low key solo musician for restaurants, weddings I'm here! as far as a band - I suppose I want to do something in the reggae/funk/rockabilly / punk/ western swing kinda vibes. (what ever that means right!?) just flexible for all kinds of venues. Making money while having fun is the main idea here! I have a sound system, all my gear works, my car goes and I'm easy going and I want the work! If you are looking to start a band or jam, good musicianship is obvious but personality goes a long way with me. PROFESSIONALISM IS A MUST!!! I like drinking beers and absolutely don't care about whatever you are into as long as we can all be on time, be respectful to each other and the venue, and be thankful to the venue and people we are working for and walk away feeling good about the gig. I have charts for most of my songs. originals and covers. Any who.
