The Commission on Affirmative Aging in the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast presents a day to learn about how to stay young at heart. We have an exciting lineup:
ZUMBA with Barbie Francez, Esq.CHAIR YOGA with Jan CraverRESEARCH ON SENESCENCE with Melinda Henderson, PhD COGNITIVE HEALTH with Timothy Hecker, MDCARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH with Gerry Phillips, MDHEALTHY SLEEP with Mike Ledet, MD4 CEU hours for clergy, nurses and healthcare workers.
Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. Lunch is included. Wear comfortable clothing.
This workshop is sponsored by the Commission on Affirmative Aging (Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast). It is designed for clergy, parish nurses, those involved in activities or programs for the elderly (in the home, church, or other agency) as well as for all who wish to age affirmatively.
