School is close to starting back up, and for some in our community, this means a financial strain. School is close to starting back up, and for some in our community, this means a financial strain. According to Hillsborough Education Foundation, more than 150,000 students in Hillsborough County Public Schools qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Many students don’t have some of the most basic supplies like paper, pencils, or a backpack, and BKN wants to help fix this. Starting July 28th between the hours of 10 am - 5 pm, BKN Creative will act as a drop-off location to collect school supplies from any businesses or individuals in our network, community, and beyond. On August 1st, we will also be holding a school supplies drive between 12 pm - 3 pm. At this drive, we are asking our community to stop by our office, bring some school supplies, enjoy light snacks and beverages. All school supplies will be directly donated to the Hillsborough Education Foundation, and below you will also see a list of the top 10 most needed school supplies.
