Get ready for an elegant evening of high fashion, style, art, special performances and more. We are going to be featuring local designers Get ready for an elegant evening of high fashion, style, art, special performances and more. We are going to be featuring local Grand Rapids designers and designers nationwide, local models, small businesses and boutique vendors. Come and experience a taste of Grand Rapids high fashion all while supporting a great cause. This year a portion of our proceeds will be donated to few nonprofit organization within Grand Rapids and West Africa,Liberia. Reaching Across is run by Nurse Judy (Julia Abedi) and aims to provide tuition, meals, and basic supplies to impoverished primary school aged children in West Africa, Liberia. It costs $160USD for one year of tuition per child, in an area where tax funded public education doesn’t exist. Reaching Across aims to irradiate education disparity within this vulnerable community. You can donate through cash app $reachingacrosscdc, or in person at the Passion for fashion Charity event. We are also taking donations for basic supplies that are useful for the children attending school, these basic supplies are generally unaffordable to this community, and often times the children go without items that are necessities to most of us.
