National Night Out Events Planned For Aug. 3 In Baltimore County

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — On Tuesday, Aug. 3, the Baltimore County Police Department will participate in the 38th year of National Night Out. This annual community-building campaign promotes police-community partnerships and encourages people to come together and form relationships and open up channels of communication with the officers who serve in their neighborhoods. The celebrations will including block parties, carnival games, school supply drives, educational seminars and more. Residents also are asked to turn on their porch lights Aug. 3 in a show of solidarity during National Night Out. The list of activities planned in the different precincts is included below and may evolve as National Night Out draws closer, the department noted.
