Press release from the Arapahoe County Government: July 21, 2021 Arapahoe County's Open Spaces are among our most treasured assets. From parks to trails to waterways, these amenities enhance the quality of life throughout the County. The Open Spaces Sales and Use Tax—which dedicates one-quarter of one cent from retail sales in the County to maintaining these spaces and programs—will soon be up for reauthorization by our voters. Each County commissioner will be joined by officials from Open Spaces and from our communities to discuss the many ways our residents and visitors benefit from a robust Open Spaces program.
