SUMMIT, NJ — The next meeting of the Summit Board of Education will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Summit High School Library/Media Center. The agenda is here. Among items on the agenda: Approval of the finalized collective bargaining agreement with the Summit Education Association for Sept. 1, 2021 through Aug. 31, 2023, inclusive of salary guides.Approval of the Summit High School Senior Picnic on Sunday, Aug. 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., location to be determined.Approval of a donation from the Summit High school PTO of $10,333 for a "Zen Den" at the high school.Approval of Crystal Marr as director of student personnel services at a salary of $140,000 per year.Approval of David Howarth to become the Social Studies supervisor at Summit High School, pending certification.Approval of a slew of advisors to high school clubs and programs (see list with agenda).
