The Connect is a networking event in the guise of a happy hour. Where young professionals connect, advocate, and advance their careers. Welcome to Event #4 of our "We Outside!" Summer Series! Our Summer Series highlights venues in Delaware that ALL young professionals should know about. For too long, people have stated there's not many fun & active things to do in Delaware. Adding to that, most young professionals of color feel like they work in silos creating a feeling of displacement in their own community. The Summer Series is here to change that. Our central theme for this event will be apart of a lasting partnership we have with DE Dept of Ed., "Educators of Color Retention" *This event is FREE for Premium Members of The Connect w/ RSVP (please see ticket registration section. We will be hosting a back-to-school drive with this event being a dropoff location for school supplies. Please bring items with you, will be collected at registration area.
