Join us for our first in-person event in more than a year. This will be a networking opportunity. We hope to see you there. We will have 2 special guests (see below) joining us from NAWBO National to tell us about what they have found to be beneficial and fun as NAWBO members. Raffle: There will be a raffle of various prizes including a ticket to the NAWBO National Conference, October 17-19, 2021 in New Orleans, LA. Karen Bennetts - Co-founder, Little Red Bird; NAWBO National Board Member Karen is a co-founder of Little Red Bird, which provides full-service brand development, design and strategy to digital, video, social, print, and internet-based communications. She has an insider’s view on a variety of industries, after managing accounts ranging from UNC Charlotte, Lowe’s Companies, Family Dollar, Audi of America, Xerox Corporation, HSBC Mortgage Services, and TWA Airlines. She serves on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Women Business Owners’ national board of directors and is a past president of NAWBO’s Charlotte Chapter. Cristina Heaney - CEO, U.S. Safety Services; NAWBO National Board Chair Cristina’s U.S. Safety Services team has been providing medical first responder services since 2005 in Central and South Texas. Cristina and her team were blessed to stay in business for the better part of a year, and are diligently working to rebuild their pool of employees, now that sporting, entertainment, and corporate events are coming back. She has been a NAWBO Member since 2011, where she served as Secretary/Treasurer and Chapter President in San Antonio, Texas. Currently, Cristina serves as chair of the NAWBO National Board.
