Press release from the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce: July 21, 2021 Local businesses and citizens will be recognized during the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Meeting and Business Celebration on September 9 at the Julian Carroll Convention Center. Presenting Sponsors are Mercy Health and CSI The annual event, typically held in January, was postponed due to the pandemic. "We believe it is never too late to host our 2021 Annual Meeting and Business Celebration," said Sandra Wilson, Paducah Chamber President. "It is always a good time to celebrate and honor our local businesses and individuals who did so much for our community in 2020." Nominations are being accepted for the Chamber's annual awards including: Business of the Year Entrepreneur of the Year Non-Profit of the Year (two categories) Citizen of the Year Summit Award Small Business of the Year Chamber Volunteer of the Year Leadership Alumnus of the Year The deadline for nominations is Monday, August 2 at 5 p.m. Learn more about the award criteria and submit nominations at paducahchamber.org.
