Press release from the City of Franklin: 07/21/2021 9:00 AM Franklin, TN – The Franklin Fire Department has two upcoming FREE drive-through community car seat check-up events planned:  Monday, July 26 at Franklin Fire Station 1, 500 New Highway 96 West, from 2 – 4 PM Saturday, July 31 at Nissan of Cool Springs, 212 Comtide Court, from 2:30 – 4:30 PM - free smoothies from the "Buns on the Run" food truck will be available, courtesy of Nissan of Cool Springs, while supplies last! Firefighters who are certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will show you how to properly install and use your car seat, so be prepared to learn!  If possible, bring your child with you to ensure the harness fits properly, as well as your car seat instruction manual and vehicle owner's manual.  This press release was produced by the City of Franklin.
