JERSEY CITY, NJ —A helicopter will be flying overhead on Friday as the Hudson County Regional Health Commission sprays Hudson County with mosquito Control larvicide. Parts of Jersey City were sprayed on Tuesday. Friday's spraying will only spray larvicide on the wetlands in Hudson County. The commission said no precautions need to be taken. Spraying starts at 7 a.m. Friday. The Hudson Regional Health Commission will be applying mosquito control larvicides to wetland habitat in Hudson County by helicopter flying at low altitude on July 23, 2021 starting at 7:00 AM.
