Montclair, NJ: Montclair Radiology announced today they have partnered with MeVis, a leading medical imaging software company, to harness the power of artificial intelligence to help detect early lung cancer on CT scans. Veolity LungCAD software, developed by MeVis, is approved by the FDA to detect nodules in the lung that may represent early lung cancer.
“Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide and causes the most cancer deaths each year. Over 2 million new cases occurred in 2020 with a mortality of 1.8 million people.
