Press release from the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office: July 20, 2021   Pfc Sarnoff is a World War II Veteran. He enlisted in the Army on June 14, 1943,  where he was a medic until his honorable discharge on March 4, 1946.  On May 1, 2021, Pfc Jack Sarnoff received "The New Jersey Distinguished Service Medal" – New Jersey's highest military award during his 100th birthday ceramony in Englishtown, N.J.   This press release was produced by the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office.
