Description
ROMEOVILLE, IL — A drive-thru shred event will be held Aug. 14, hosted by Mayor John Noak and State Rep. Natalie Manley. The event will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Aug. 14 at Romeoville Village Hall, 1050 W. Romeo Road.
According to the Village Facebook page, participants will stay in their cars and will be limited to three boxes per car to be shredded.
There will be two shred trucks available, and no electronic recycling will be accepted at the event. Medicine disposal will be available and collected by the Will County Sheriff's Office, according to the Village.
The event is free and open to the public.
