Do you like working on cool cars and trucks? If so, you're in luck because Your Custom Car LLC is hiring! Our store/shop is located in Kannapolis, NC, and with business picking up so much since the pandemic, we are overloaded with work and need to bring in an extra employee or two to help with getting vehicles completed and bringing in new business. Full-time or part-time positions are available. We offer great hours and there are several perks with working for our car and truck customizing business! Whether it’s a brand-new Mustang or Camaro, a heavy-duty work truck, or a ‘32 Ford Coupe, we enjoy modifying them all! Our specialties include sales of automotive accessories, suspension modifications, metal fabrication, welding, wiring, custom lighting, and assembly. We also offer services for mild repairs and vehicle servicing. The person(s) we are looking for needs to have experience in the automotive repair/modifying industry and must be responsible and trustworthy. Being willing to learn new or different ways of making modifications or repairs is a must and reliable transportation is also required. Some responsibilities may include heavy lifting, removing and installing wheels, removing and installing automotive interior panels correctly, suspension assembly/disassembly, welding, automotive wiring, cable organizing, taking phone calls, dealing with customers and answering their questions, estimating job costs, shop cleaning, and maintenance of the property. Being a retail business, we deal with the public so being good with people and respectable is a must and please note that we are only interested in individuals who are responsible and take pride in their work. Being reliable, willing to learn, and trainable is required.
