Millikin University announces spring 2021 dean's list Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2021 semester. Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean's List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00-grade point average on 12 graded credits attempted to earn High Dean's List honors. OnCyte Orientation complements the extensive online orientation many incoming students completed in the spring. As part of the program, students and their families met peers, signed up for classes, became familiar with the campus, and learned tips for making the most of their college careers. Lindsey Schueman of Plainfield, IL (60544) attended Iowa State University College of Human Sciences OnCyte Orientation on the Ames campus. — Merit Page News Evelyn Hernandez graduates from Rochester Institute of Technology Evelyn Hernandez of Plainfield (60544) graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with an AAS in architectural and civil drafting technology. Some 4,000 degrees were conferred in the 2020-2021 academic year at all of RIT's campuses. Due to New York state COVID-19 occupancy restrictions, commencement was celebrated May 14-15 in smaller ceremonies by college and was live-streamed for graduates' family and friends. Rochester Institute of Technology is home to leading creators, entrepreneurs, innovators and researchers. Geisha Jimenez Williams, a business leader with more than three decades of experience in the energy industry who became the first and, so far, only Latina CEO of a Fortune 200 company, delivered the Commencement address.
