WEST GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, PA — It was another day, another baby bird rescue, in West Goshen Township as the Streets Department crew stopped other labor in order to retrieve a baby bird that had fallen into a street drain on Thursday. It happened just before noon, and West Goshen Township Police said the rescue was a whole-crew effort as the Township's Streets Department workers removed a metal cover and another went in for the rescue just before noon. Police called it "a daring rescue" and told the crew, "Way to go, guys!" Make sure you know what's happening in your town.
