PITTSBURGH, PA — Think about what you were doing (or, more accurately, not doing) at this point last summer and you'll likely be grateful for all of the activities springing up around town this weekend. Here are Patch's Weekend Picks: Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, July 24-25, Begins at 9 a.m. both days, Schenley Park The nation's only vintage race held on city streets will conclude the annual grand prix Sunday, with thousand of spectators expected to view the event from the park's Bob O'Connor golf course. The race honors the origins of sports car racing at Watkins Glen and Elkhart Lake in the 1940s and 1950s. Inside Out, July 24, 12 p.m.-5 p.m., Carnegie Museum of Art Visit the museum courtyard for free family-friendly art-making activities, new performances by local artists and arts groups and music from area DJs. Local food trucks will be on hand as will a Cafe Carnegie bar with snacks, kid-friendly treats, wines and local beers. WWE Supershow, July 24, 7:30 p.m., PPG Paints Arena Wrestling returns to the arena after a prolonged pandemic-related absence. WWE Raw & Smackdown stars will be under one roof, so you'll get to see Roman Reigns versus Rey and Dominik Mysterio in a 2-in-1 handicap match for the universal championship. Rhea Ripley will take on Charlotte Flair for the Raw women's championship. OpenStreetsPGH, July 25, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Hazelwood Enjoy outdoor recreation on two miles of streets in Hazelwood, where you can walk, run, bike, skate and dance. A free fitness class will be offered, as well as bike riding instruction for kids. Local vendors will provide food and local organizations will host a variety of other activities. Pittsburgh Pickers, July 25, 12 p.m.-6 p.m., Spirit, Lawrenceville Shop with various resellers and collectors that promote their stores via social networks, online marketplaces, in their own brick and mortar storefronts and at other events. Admission is free.
