JOLIET, IL — Joliet police say a 37-year-old man suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds around 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of State Street, the city's northeast side.
Joliet police were notified at 10:01 p.m. that someone was shot at a house on State Street, which is near the intersection of Ohio Street.
"Officers determined that a 37-year-old male victim was struck by gunfire while he was standing on a second story deck. No description of the shooter is available. The victim was transported to AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries," police Sgt. Dwayne English notified Joliet Patch.

Joliet resident Bob Hernandez notified his followers that he learned of the shooting and went to the scene to produce one of his Facebook Live videos.
