JOLIET, IL — Joliet police say a 37-year-old man suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds around 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of State Street, the city's northeast side. Joliet police were notified at 10:01 p.m. that someone was shot at a house on State Street, which is near the intersection of Ohio Street. "Officers determined that a 37-year-old male victim was struck by gunfire while he was standing on a second story deck. No description of the shooter is available. The victim was transported to AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries," police Sgt. Dwayne English notified Joliet Patch.
