CREST HILL, IL — A 22-year-old Crest Hill resident faces two felony charges of unauthorized recording following a Crest Hill Police Department investigation into an incident from three summers ago. Charges were filed this week by the Will County State's Attorney's Office against Alexis Renkor, who lives in the 16500 block of Kingsbrook Drive. The incident occurred at Renkor's residence on Kingsbrook Drive between June 1, 2018, and Aug. 30, 2018, according to the complaint. Renkor made a video recording of the victim while the person was in a restroom at Renkor's house, prosecutors stated. The second charge indicated that Renkor made a video recording or transmission of live video in a restroom without the other woman's consent. As of Thursday, Renkor had not been arrested by Crest Hill police. Court records indicate that a summons has been issued for Renkor to appear at the Will County Courthouse for an Aug. 13 hearing.
