CROYDON, PA — Somebody got very lucky in Bucks County Saturday, after buying a winning $100,000 Powerball ticket at a local 7-Eleven.
The 7-Eleven at 293 Bristol Pike in Croydon will earn a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket in the July 17 drawing. The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn — 15-22-38-54-66 — and the red Powerball 03 to win the $100,000 payout.
Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000; with it, its value doubled.
Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners are unknown until they claim their prizes and validate their tickets, with one year from the drawing date to claim their winnings. The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of the ticket and contact the nearest Lottery office.
