3 Elmhurst Men Among Those Charged: Cops

ELMHURST, IL — In the last few days, three Elmhurst residents were among those charged by local police. Here is information from Elmhurst police reports: DUI Ivan Garcia, 39, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at North and Clinton on charges of DUI, speeding and improper lane usage. He was released on bond. Agustin Ariza-Galvan, 20, of Addison, was arrested about 3 p.m. Saturday at Route 83 and Lake on charges of DUI, transportation of alcohol, no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured vehicle, improper lane usage and consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was released on bond. Prowling Christopher J. Dwyer, 34, of Elmhurst, was cited about 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of South Grace on a charge of prowling. He was released on bond. Police responded to a house, where a woman said a man, later identified as Dwyer, was in her back yard. She said she did not give permission for anyone to be on her property. Trespassing John J. Miulli, 33, unknown town of residence, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Maple on a charge of criminal trespass to property. He was released on bond. Miulli was in a house, where he refused to leave. He was served with a no-trespass notice and continued to refuse to leave. Driving violations Matthew Kennedy, 45, of Elmhurst, was cited at 7 a.m. Friday at Brush Hill and Prospect on charges of failure to give information after striking property and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond. Joseph A. Rueda, 20, of Melrose Park, was cited about 2 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of North York on charges of driving with a suspended license and no front license plate. He was released on bond. Eric D. Rogers, 37, of Olympia Fields, was cited about 7:30 p.m. Thursday at York and Grand on charges of driving with a suspended license and no front license plate. He was released on bond. Lorenzo Wilson, 64, of Bellwood, was cited about 7 p.m. Saturday at Butterfield and Chatham on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid registration.
