CULVER CITY, CA — Multiple people were arrested on suspicion of DUI and cited for driving without a license at a checkpoint last week, according to the Culver City Police Department.
The DUI and driver's license checkpoint was conducted July 16 in the 11400 block of Washington Boulevard, just northwest of Culver Boulevard, police said.
Police said that of the 884 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint, 389 vehicles were screened and yielded. Here's additional information:

"Buzzed driving is drunk driving."
The checkpoint was part of the 2021 California Office of Traffic Safety grant requirements for the Culver City Police Department.
"DUI and Driver's License checkpoints are an important traffic safety enforcement detail that provides for the safety of all motorists on the road," police said.
