Man Charged In Casas Adobes Shooting That Injured Neighbor

TUCSON, AZ — A 32-year-old man was charged with first-degree burglary and aggravated assault in connection with a shooting in Casas Adobes Tuesday, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said. Eric Miller was charged on Wednesday, after the department said he shot his neighbor after an argument broke out between them outside their homes, in the 7800 block of north Viewpointe Circle, according to the department. The neighbor, who the department did not identify, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting, while Miller was injured after getting shot in the leg during the altercation, the department said. RELATED: 2 Injured In Casas Adobes Shooting, Suspect On The Loose If convicted of first-degree burglary, Miller faces a maximum sentence of 21 years in prison. Additionally, if convicted of aggravated assault, Miller faces a maximum sentence of 21 years in prison. Miller is currently being held at Pima County Adult Detention Center. His bail has not been released, as of Thursday morning.
