Press release from the City of Scottsdale: July 19, 2021 Are you at least 15 years old and looking for a rewarding job that teaches responsibility and the importance of water safety? Become a lifeguard at one of the Scottsdale pools! Not sure where to start? McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center will be hosting a StarGuard lifeguard training class July 26 – 28 from 1 – 5 p.m. This class, which is a mix of online and in-person lessons, will teach the basics of lifeguarding, which includes certifications in first aid and CPR/AED. The cost is only $115 for Scottsdale residents, and $170 for everyone else. Sign up today, and start saving lives!
