We're committed to creating a better, stronger, greener Phoenix- infrastructure is critical as we build out that vision." This comes a day after Mayor Gallego met with President Biden and Vice President Harris to discuss the proposed Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework bill and the need for more federal investment directly to cities. Mayor Gallego has been a champion for strengthening infrastructure investment during her time in office and remains committed to finding innovative solutions to meet the current needs. "I am in strong support of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework. Projects like the South-Central Light Rail will connect communities across the valley and open opportunities for all residents. I am proud of the strong partners we have at the White House who prioritize these critical investments in our cities," said Mayor Gallego.
