CARTERSVILLE, GA — The Bartow County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help to identify a woman who paid for $80 worth of lottery tickets with a counterfeit $100 bill. The woman, whose image was recorded on security video, bought the tickets Thursday at A1 Food Mart on Joe Frank Harris Parkway, according to a social-media post from the Bartow sheriff's office. After she paid for the tickets, she told the clerk she could keep the $20 change. Those tickets have since been reported to the Georgia Lottery as stolen. The woman is described as a white female, wearing a red shirt and black pants. She left in a silver passenger vehicle.
