Press release from the City of Mobile Police Department: Jul 19, 2021 The Mobile Police Department randomly selects businesses to conduct underage drinking compliance checks. During a compliance check on July 16, 2021, West Mobile Liquor was found in violation of selling alcohol to a minor.  An underage operative entered the location in an attempt to purchase alcohol. The store clerk at West Mobile Liquor, located at 2502 Schillinger Road, did not request identification from the underage operative and sold them an alcoholic beverage. A warrant will be signed against the store clerk on a later date.  The Mobile Police Department teams up with the Alabama ABC inspectors to conduct the underage drinking compliance checks throughout the year.
