WORCESTER, MA — Three Worcester men were arrested Tuesday afternoon after a shooting and pursuit along Granite Street, according to police.
Near 12:30 p.m., Worcester officers went to Aetna Street on a report of gunfire. A state trooper in the area began tailing a vehicle linked to the shooting. The driver later stopped when an officer at a construction site flagged him down, but then sped off.
Police tracked the vehicle to a wooded area along Granite Street near the Harvey Ball Conservation Area, where it was ditched in the woods. Police found a gun in the car and a second one on the ground nearby.
One of the men was located nearby along Park Hill Road, and two more were found along Nyland Street.
The men, ages 18, 22 and 20, were each charged with firing a gun within 500 feet of a building, vandalism, and multiple gun law violations. Police said two cars along Aetna Street were hit by bullets, but no one was injured by the gunfire.
