JAMESPORT, NY —Crowds lined the streets Wednesday as the Jamesport Fire Department Parade stepped off for the first time since the pandemic.
Fire departments from across the East End and Long Island participated, sirens sounding proudly; numerous community groups also attended the beloved annual event.
The annual Jamesport Fire Department Carnival and Bazaar continues at the George Young Community Center, located at 446 South Jamesport Avenue, through Saturday, July 22, opening at 6 p.m. Friday and at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Fireworks are slated for Saturday night at 10 p.m.
